Explosion-proof cranes in compliance with the ATEX Directive 94/9/EC ETS Engineering Spa designs and manufactures explosion-proof overhead cranes, gantry cranes, jib cranes and hoists for Zone 1 and Zone 2 in accordance with the European ATEX Directive 94/9/EC and the requirements of EN 13463 standards. ETS is notified by Bureau Veritas for the production of explosion-proof machinery, having submitted the Technical File for risk analysis as required by Annex VIII of the ATEX Directive. Compliance with these directives has been mandatory in Europe since July 1, 2003. All ETS products meet the safety requirements for hazardous areas related to Group II applications and risk Categories 2 and 3 (Zones 1 and 2). The explosion-proof classification complies with standards of type EEx d and/or EEx d/e IIB T4 or EEx d and/or EEx d/e IIC T4. Experience in the explosion-proof sector now exceeds ten years, with installations completed worldwide for Snamprogetti (now Saipem), Nuovo Pignone, General Electric Company, Tecnimont, Petrobras, Renco, Edison, Maire Engineering and many others.

Applications from 1 ton to 200 tons with spans up to 50 m.
