Quality, Safety and Sustainability

Since its foundation, ETS S.p.A. has been committed to providing its clients with high-quality products, designed to ensure reliability, durability, and consistent performance over time.

Through careful design and engineering processes, the company strives to reduce operating and maintenance costs, contributing to improved operational efficiency and minimizing environmental impact throughout the entire product lifecycle, during which proper periodic maintenance is carried out in compliance with applicable regulations.

Over time, ETS S.p.A. has developed a strong safety culture, investing significant resources in technical consulting services and after-sales support to ensure operational continuity and maximum protection for operators.

Loyalty, fairness, transparency, honesty, and integrity are the core principles on which ETS bases its operations, in full compliance with laws, regulations, mandatory requirements, international standards, and guidelines, both national and international.

To support these principles, ETS has adopted a Code of Ethics that guides managers and employees to carry out their activities with responsibility, integrity, and consistency, promoting a corporate culture focused on quality, sustainability, and respect for people and the environment.

Objectives and Strategy

Environmental sustainability is now a central element in corporate strategies. Reducing consumption, optimizing resources, and evolving into an increasingly “green” company is not only a competitive factor and a driver of long-term growth, but above all a responsible choice.

For ETS S.p.A., being sustainable means going beyond reducing environmental impact: it means creating shared value, while promoting social well-being, economic strength, and the development of the territories in which we operate.

With this in mind, the company directs its strategic decisions toward a sustainable development model across economic, environmental, and social dimensions, progressively integrating these principles into its processes, organization, and investment choices. Awareness of these topics is constantly evolving, as is the commitment to continuously update strategies and operational tools, making sustainability an integral part of the company’s culture.

ETS S.p.A. has always placed people at the core of its values system. Employees represent a fundamental strategic asset for achieving business objectives and, above all, form the heart of the company’s organizational culture.
 

Employee well-being, together with the enhancement of skills and individual motivation, is considered a key success factor. Professional capabilities, experience, and the engagement of each employee are strategic resources for the Group.

Structured evaluation processes, continuous training, and professional development paths are essential tools to support the evolution of competencies and to foster a stimulating, inclusive work environment focused on continuous improvement—key elements of the company’s strategy.

Improving workers' health and safety

ETS S.p.A. has always placed people at the core of its value system, both as the primary strategic asset for achieving business objectives and because the well-being of its workforce is one of the fundamental pillars of its corporate culture. The skills and motivation of each employee represent key strategic resources for the ETS Group. For this reason, the development of evaluation and training programs aimed at supporting human capital growth is a central element of its strategy.

The Group is committed to a continuous process of retaining and developing local talent, assigning positions of responsibility over time to deserving individuals within the organization. As of December 31, 2021, the workforce consisted of 40 employees, including 10 women, with an average age of 36. Diversity and inclusion are fundamental pillars of ETS S.p.A.’s culture. Operating across multiple countries, the company is constantly engaged with a culturally diverse workforce. In this context, ETS S.p.A. is committed to promoting working conditions that ensure equal opportunities by eliminating any form of discrimination based on gender, age, religion, origin, political views, or sexual orientation. In line with its Code of Ethics, the company ensures that no employee engages in discriminatory or harassing behavior and undertakes to take action against any conduct deemed intimidating or offensive. Ensuring job stability remains a priority for ETS S.p.A.: all employees are hired under permanent contracts.

ETS S.p.A. is actively committed to contributing to the well-being of the communities in which it operates, both by promoting its own initiatives and by supporting organizations engaged in social causes. In particular, the company supports projects focused on assisting people with disabilities, promoting diversity and inclusion, and fostering a culture of environmental respect, also through collaborations with the “Centro Margherita di Pergola” association.

 

Healthcare and education are fundamental human rights. For this reason, ETS S.p.A. promotes and supports various initiatives aimed at protecting and enhancing these areas, contributing concretely to the social development of the local territory. Furthermore, to encourage sports and strengthen social cohesion, the company supports and sponsors local sports organizations, promoting values such as commitment, inclusion, and team spirit.

Reduction of environmental impacts

Reducing environmental impact is now an essential responsibility for every organization. Investing in sustainability means generating a positive and measurable return not only in environmental terms, but also socially and economically, while strengthening long-term competitiveness.

Even small everyday actions can make a concrete contribution to environmental protection. For years, ETS S.p.A. has adopted practices aimed at reducing waste and promoting the responsible use of resources: it uses recycled paper, encourages proper waste separation through dedicated office containers, and has progressively reduced plastic consumption by supplying water in returnable glass bottles.
 

As further confirmation of its commitment to the energy transition, the company has recently installed a 63 kW photovoltaic system, designed for self-consumption and for feeding excess energy into the grid. This investment helps reduce CO₂ emissions, decrease dependence on traditional energy sources, and actively contribute to the production of renewable energy.
 

Through these initiatives, ETS S.p.A. continues its journey toward an increasingly sustainable and responsible growth model.

Financial sustainability

A solid and prudent management approach is the foundation for business continuity and long-term growth.

Each year, as part of the financial statements, the Reserve Fund is increased with the aim of strengthening financial stability and safeguarding the company, its employees, and its suppliers from unforeseen events or adverse market conditions, ensuring responsible decisions aligned with the company’s strategy and focused on long-term value creation.

Every action is guided by a clear and shared objective: to grow the company in a balanced, responsible, and sustainable way.
