ASSISTANCE AND SPARE PARTS

For constant support
and maximum optimization
of the products

Safety, experience, speed, commitment, and cost-efficiency are the core values that guide ETS in every effort to enhance the quality of its services.

ROUTINE MAINTENANCE

Proper maintenance of overhead cranes and lifting equipment helps prevent failures and malfunctions, ensuring the safety of the systems. It reduces downtime, improves production efficiency, extends the service life of the equipment, and lowers the costs associated with extraordinary maintenance.

Reliability and expertise are the foundation of the various periodic maintenance contracts (annual, quarterly, semi-annual) that we offer to our customers. ETS performs maintenance and supplies spare parts for all lifting systems, regardless of the original manufacturer.

ASSEMBLY AND TESTING

Extraordinary Maintenance:
ETS specialized technicians will reach you within 36/48 hours, anywhere.

Installation and Testing:
In addition to design, manufacturing, and maintenance services, ETS is able to provide an efficient installation service for lifting systems.

LOAD TESTS

Each system is tested both at our facility for general functional checks and at the customer’s site before commissioning. This ensures that installation is carried out in maximum safety and in full compliance with current regulations.

In addition, lifting equipment and their devices are subject to annual load testing to verify the correct operation of brakes and installed limiting devices (static load tests with a 25% overload and dynamic load tests with a 10% overload).

Our specialized technicians install, test, and certify your equipment.

  • Radio controls

REVAMPING

ETS staff can improve the efficiency of your systems, increase load capacity, and ensure compliance with current safety regulations. Regardless of the structure and age of your crane, it is possible to request an assessment of the machine’s condition within its operating environment.

Some of the most commonly performed interventions include:

  • Installation of radio control

  • Installation of load limiter

  • Electrical system refurbishment

  • Modification of overhead crane span

  • Load capacity reduction (derating)

  • Modernization of obsolete electrical components

DOCUMENTATION MANAGEMENT

Under Ministerial Decree (DM) of April 11, 2011, structural and mechanical inspections for lifting equipment have become mandatory. These inspections aim to assess the condition, as well as the structural, mechanical, and functional efficiency of the equipment, and to estimate its potential and remaining service life:

  • Verification confirming CE marking after 10 years

  • Assessment of residual life after 20 years

The inspection and related supplementary analysis are carried out by qualified personnel and include:

  • Visual inspection

  • Non-destructive testing (NDT)

  • Analysis of structural and functional components

  • Functional testing

  • Operational testing

Residual life calculation after 20 years:

  • Previous usage conditions

  • Current frequency of use

  • Load intensity

  • General condition

  • Proper maintenance history and, most importantly, verification of original design specifications

The combined inspection and residual life calculation allow the appointed technician to evaluate the continued safe use of the equipment and determine the number of years before the next inspection is required.
