This Privacy Policy describes how ETS S.p.A. processes the personal data of users who visit the website and use the online services available through it.

  • to ensure the proper functioning and security of the website;

  • to analyse browsing statistics, where permitted;

  • to manage external content such as maps, YouTube videos or other integrated services;

  • to allow the download of catalogues, technical sheets or informational documentation;

  • to manage the AI chat integrated into the website, when used by the user.
     

4. Legal Basis for Processing

The processing of personal data is based on:
 

  • the performance of pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject, for information requests, quotations or commercial contacts;

  • the consent of the data subject, for newsletters, marketing and non-technical tracking tools;

  • the legitimate interest of the Data Controller, for website security, ordinary communication management and the protection of its rights;

  • legal obligations, for administrative, tax and accounting requirements;

  • the management of applications, for data submitted through the “Work with Us” section.
     

5. Contact Form

The website provides a general contact form that may collect first name, last name, email address, subject, area of interest and description of the request.
 

The data are used exclusively to respond to the request, provide commercial or technical information, manage any quotation requests or initiate pre-contractual activities.
 

6. Newsletter

The website allows users to subscribe to the newsletter by entering their email address.
 

The newsletter is sent only with the user’s prior consent. Consent may be withdrawn at any time through the unsubscribe link included in the communications received or by writing to info@ets-spa.com.
 

7. Applications and CVs

Through the “Work with Us” section, users may submit their first name, last name, email address, area of interest and CV in PDF format.

The data and attachments are stored in the Wix CMS and sent via email notification to info@ets-spa.com. The data are processed to evaluate the application and for any contacts related to personnel selection.

CVs will be retained for a maximum period of 12 months, unless legal obligations apply, deletion is requested, or specific consent is given for retention for future recruitment opportunities.

8. Integrated AI Chat

The website may integrate an AI-based chat. The chat may provide automated responses using information and content manually entered by the website manager as a knowledge base.

The chat itself does not require the user to enter a name or email address. If the user wishes to be contacted, they may be directed to complete a dedicated contact form.

Any messages entered in the chat are processed to provide responses, improve the interaction with the user and manage the request. Users are invited not to enter unnecessary personal data or confidential information.

9. Cookies and Tracking Tools

The website uses technical cookies necessary for the operation of the platform and may use, subject to consent, functional, statistical or third-party tools.

Consent management is handled through Usercentrics for Wix. Users may accept, reject or customise their cookie preferences, and may modify them at a later time.

The website is built and managed through the Wix platform. Some data may be processed by technical providers or third-party services, including:

  • Wix, for hosting, CMS, forms, security, newsletter and technical website tools;

  • Usercentrics for Wix, for cookie consent management;

  • Google Maps, where present, for the display of interactive maps;

  • YouTube, where present, for the display of videos;

  • anti-spam and security services integrated into the Wix platform;

  • AI/chat tools integrated into the website.

Depending on the case, these parties may act as data processors, independent data controllers or technical providers.

11. Transfer of Data Outside the European Economic Area

Some providers, such as Wix, Google, YouTube or other integrated technical services, may process data outside the European Economic Area.

In such cases, the transfer is carried out in accordance with the safeguards provided by applicable legislation, including adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or other mechanisms provided under the GDPR.

Data are retained for the time necessary to fulfil the purposes for which they were collected.

  • commercial requests or quotations not resulting in a business relationship: up to 12 months;

  • data related to commercial, administrative or accounting relationships: for the period required by law;

  • newsletter subscription: until consent is withdrawn;

  • applications and CVs: up to 12 months;

  • technical data and security logs: for the time necessary to ensure website security and operation;

  • cookies: according to the durations indicated in the Cookie Policy and in the consent management panel.
     

13. Rights of the Data Subject

The data subject may exercise the rights provided for by applicable legislation, including:
 

  • access to personal data;

  • rectification of inaccurate data;

  • deletion of data;

  • restriction of processing;

  • objection to processing;

  • data portability, where applicable;
