The manual slewing crane is a GBRM series jib crane.
This type of jib crane is operated with the assistance of personnel who, through the MANUAL vertical movement of the chain, rotate the JIB ARM 360°, thus facilitating machine operations and allowing the load to be handled and transferred across multiple workstations.
The operator can easily guide the suspended load with a slight manual push, directing it as needed.
A necessary investment to ensure high performance in any working environment, both indoor and outdoor.
In many cases, jib cranes represent the only feasible solution when other lifting and handling systems cannot be used.
ROTATING ARM
Manufactured, depending on capacity and outreach, either in steel beam with standardized profile or in box-section beam with internal stiffening diaphragms.
It is equipped, like the column, with a drilled flange designed for the installation of the slewing ring, to which it is connected using high-strength bolts.
COLUMN
Self-supporting steel column with special circular and/or octagonal profile, ensuring excellent rigidity.
The column is also fitted with a base plate for anchoring to the foundation, and at the top end with a drilled flange designed for the installation of the slewing ring.
SLEWING MECHANISM
Composed of a base axial bearing (slewing ring) capable of withstanding both vertical loads and overturning moments, and a gear motor mounted on the arm.
The motor is self-braking with smooth start and progressive braking; its pinion, mounted on the low-speed shaft, engages with the internal gearing of the slewing ring.
The assembly system, combined with the precision of the slewing ring and the sensitivity of the gear motor, ensures smooth and accurate arm rotation.
The cranes can be equipped with wire rope hoists and/or chain hoists.
